As a result, you want to ensure you are getting the right truck when you are ready to make this significant purchase.

A green 2025 Chevy Trax parked and angled right.

The second-generation Chevy Trax has earned a loyal following since its 2024 debut, not to mention some rave reviews. The subcompact not only landed a spot on Car and Driver’s coveted 10Best Trucks and SUVs list, but it was also singled out with an Editor’s Choice award with the publication praising the SUV’s value, interior space, and six-speed automatic transmission. Two new exterior color options give the Trax a modern look, but it’s the crossover’s newfound ability to run on E85 fuel that marks the most impressive enhancement. E85 not only offers better performance but also has a lower environmental impact, is made in the USA, and is often 25- to 35-percent less expensive than high-octane fuels.
