The Chevrolet Blazer is a midsize SUV that not only has a sporty look but backs it up with athletic handling that makes it a pleasure to drive. On top of that, it offers plenty of space for passengers and cargo and a wide array of standard and available tech that makes everything from enjoying music to loading groceries convenient. We’re proud to offer the 2024 Chevy Blazer for sale here at LaFontaine Chevrolet Dexter because it has so much to offer all kinds of drivers.

In fact, this model has so many features, trims, and new upgrades that it would be overwhelming to list them all at once. Instead, we’re going to look at six highlights that are great examples of what the Blazer brings to the table. If you want to know more about this SUV, you can always reach out and ask us your questions about the 2024 Blazer.

1. Heated Front Seats Standard on All Trims

New for the 2024 model year, heated front seats are now standard across all trims of the Blazer. Whether you opt for a 2LT, 3LT, RS, or Premier trim, you and your front passenger will be able to stay nice and toasty all winter long. That means you can save money by opting for a more affordable trim without sacrificing comfort features that don’t feel so optional up here in Michigan. The base trim of the Blazer also comes standard with other comforts that make the cabin a pleasant place to be, even during long drives.

Active noise cancellation keeps things nice and quiet, even when you’re driving through noisy areas. An eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat lets you find a position that’s just right so you don’t get sore on road trips. Dual-zone automatic climate control lets you and your front passenger each pick your own ideal temperature, so you don’t have to get into an argument just because one person runs hot while the other runs cold.

2. Safety Tech for Driving With Confidence

The Blazer doesn’t just keep you comfortable; it keeps you safe everywhere, from parking lots to busy freeways. Every trim comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist, a suite of driver assistance tech that helps you stay aware of your surroundings and stay out of trouble.

This includes a following distance indicator to help you keep back from the vehicle in front of you, a forward collision alert to warn you about imminent danger, automatic emergency braking and front pedestrian braking to avoid accidents, lane departure warning with lane keep assist for safe highway driving, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams so you can see well on unlit roads at night without blinding your fellow drivers. More advanced features, like adaptive cruise control and enhanced automatic emergency braking, are available to opt into on all trims.

The Driver Confidence II package is an even more cutting-edge suite of tech that’s available on the top-tier RS and Premier trims. With this, you’ll get HD Surround Vision so you can see 360 degrees around the vehicle when parking in tight spaces, a rear camera mirror that gives you a wide view of the road behind you (even if cargo or tall passengers are blocking the view of the traditional mirror), and a safety alert driver’s seat that lets you know instantly whether danger is coming from the left or right side thanks to targeted vibrations. The package also includes adaptive cruise control and enhanced automatic emergency braking.

3. An Advanced Infotainment System

While many vehicles make you upgrade to a pricey trim in order to get an infotainment screen that’s big enough to read at a glance, the Blazer comes standard with a generous 10.2-inch display across all trim levels. Using this screen (as well as physical buttons and dials throughout the cabin), you can access the infotainment system, which comes standard with helpful features like Bluetooth for up to two devices, cloud-connected personalization, voice recognition, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity for your smartphone. If you want to cut the cord entirely, you can opt for the wireless charging pad, which is available on the 2LT and 3LT trims and standard on the RS and Premier trims.

4. Two Types of All-Wheel Drive

The Blazer comes standard with front-wheel drive, which is the most efficient option and is perfect for driving on paved roads in normal conditions. But if you want to get increased traction to help you tackle wet, icy, or unpaved roads with confidence, you can upgrade to all-wheel drive instead. AWD is available on all trim levels, but the system isn’t exactly the same across all trims.

On the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier trims, the available AWD system is designed to prioritize efficiency but give you power any time you need it. Advanced sensors constantly monitor all four of your wheels and adjustments are made almost instantly to deliver optimal traction for the situation at hand. The sporty RS trim has its own twin-clutch AWD system that adds the ability to deliver extra torque to either the right or left rear wheel; this gives you not just greater traction when the weather is bad but improved handling on sunny days, so you can have a good time behind the wheel all year long.

5. Programmable Power Liftgate

Many drivers turn to SUVs in order to get a generous amount of cargo space. But before you can use that space, you have to be able to access it, which isn’t easy if your hands are full. The base 2LT trim is the only Blazer that comes standard with a manual liftgate, and even then, you have the option to upgrade to the power liftgate that comes standard on the Blazer 3LT and above. With this feature, you can open the liftgate with the push of a button.

The buttons are located near the dashboard, on the handle of the liftgate, and on the key fob, so you have plenty of options for a variety of situations. This feature includes a memory height function that lets you program exactly how high you want the gate to open, making sure that it’s always within easy reach or won’t hit the bottom of the open garage door. The RS and Premier trims take this feature one step further by adding a sensor under the rear bumper that activates the liftgate when you move your foot underneath with the key fob on your person, giving you a hands-free way to access the cargo area.

6. Enhanced Convenience Package

Clearly, there are plenty of convenient features that come standard across the Blazer lineup, but for those who want the absolute height of luxury, even further comfort and convenience are available through the Enhanced Convenience Package, which can be added to RS and Premier trims. Opt for this package to get heated rear seats while the front seats add ventilation to help you cool down in the summer.

You also get a power tilt/telescoping steering column that makes posture adjustments effortless, while the included memory function lets you save two different settings for the positions of the steering column, the driver’s seat, and the outside mirrors—so changing drivers is a snap even between two people with very different body types. This package is a cherry on top of the other great features available on the Blazer, giving you a luxurious interior that’s sure to make you feel like a million bucks wherever you go.
